September is Emergency Preparedness Month
This month has been designated as a time to plan and prepare for disasters and emergencies. We do not all live in an area where natural disasters strike, but it is still a good idea to be prepared. Go to the FEMA website for more information making a plan and making a kit.
We want to remind you that preparing for an emergency is more than just the natural disaster type. Are you prepared for a personal emergency? Who would take care of things if you were unable to do so. Would you be able to locate all of your accounts and important documents in the event of a natural disaster, theft or fire?
We created our book Where Can I Find It? for you to prepare for personal emergencies. Be sure to check it out. For as less than $5, you too can be more prepared.
