Preparing for the move

  • Donate and discard any items

  • Arrange for a garage sale, sell online, donation or removal of unwanted items

  • Make an inventory of all items of furniture, labelling if possible the placement in the new residence

  • Pack all items in organized manner, labelling boxes

Unpacking

  • Unpack all boxes in appropriate areas

  • Set up organizing systems where needed

  • Utilize labelling if necessary

  • Remove empty boxes and packing materials
